My high school – back in the Stone Ages – was strong in preparing teens for non-academic careers after graduation, so for example there was a whole “business English” track a student could take for the required 4 years, which ignored literature and taught things like how to write a cover letter, resume, business report, etc.
Do it - for the opportunity to slip in some subtle lessons in critical thinking skills.

To be clear I found the excessive on-air drinking at times off putting and tacky but any “eroding of credibility” has more to do with other factors. Those including the noted increase of bothsidesism by giving a platform for far-right talking heads on panels to spout their nonsense, and giving coveted featured time slots for those on the far right like Chris Christie and Liz Cheney. The hour long prime time town hall with Mike Pence last week was particularly disgusting and only served to try to further normalize his brand of awful Christian dominionism.

Well yes. Call of Duty is definitely a pro-military propaganda piece made with the cooperation of the military - just like all Hollywood war movies (and actually most Marvel movies too) are.
Is it more nefarious than any other company making a popular piece of media influenced and gated by how the military wants to be percieved? Probably not. Is that still pretty nefarious? Sure
I just don’t think this is something we are just learning because of an FOIA - it’s always been there.
