… if they just called those things “non-lethal” they could get in trouble for lying, so they say “less than lethal” and plan to claim a misunderstanding if they get called on it

I like the “hidden” tube roundel logo.
It has a nod to geographical accuracy but is not close to accurate. This one is from 2014 and quite close (from TFL)
