Of course the cowards chose to do this stunt at the Times Square Olive Garden. If they’d tried it in an actual NYC restaurant enforcing the rules they would have ended up getting a beatdown from the owners, , cooks, servers and busboys.

Seriously, you wanted to eat at Olive Garden so bad you would risk your health?

Well, maybe dieticians shouldn’t answer that one. . . .

It’s surprising how often “Being a jackass about covid” is confused with “This is the civil rights movement again”.

How is it possible they were able to trespass at a private business for 2 hours?

They don’t get to claim that until after we bring out the fire hoses, the beatings, and the dogs.

To quote MLK: “Are you able to accept blows without retaliating? Are you able to endure the ordeal of jail?"

Fortunately, no actual New Yorkers were anywhere near the Times Square Olive Garden at the time.

“This is the civil rights movement again” - shouted one of the people arrested at Olive Garden restaurant

“Don’t judge us by the color of our skin but the content of our character! Wait, on second thought don’t judge us by that either. In fact don’t judge us under any circumstances whatsoever, because we’re horrible people.”

Dear gawd they’re still at it. Now he’ll have to spoof A Night At The Museum.

People want everything to be the new civil rights movement—that’s why every smug white asshole in the world quotes Martin Luther King on a regular basis and Silicon Valley grifters promote their scams using the language of “changing the world”

In the '80s and '90s we also wanted everything to be the new anti-Vietnam-War movement as well, but that seems to have been a passing fad

Well if anyone is going to enjoy the food at Olive Garden, it’s going to be someone with covid and no sense of taste or smell.

You could have stopped after “no actual New Yorkers were anywhere near Times Square”
