Also you are ignoring that not all speech is the same.
He was given a platform that extends his reach. I think it’s in society’s interests to acknowledge that having a platform such as being on Fox News boosts his lies. And that maybe we should punish the platform for hosting the same lie again and a again.

I agree that care must be taking on defining what is a lie. That is a harder problem. We are clever we can build models, test out ideas etc.
