If the FBI won’t do it, he’ll just use border patrol or soveriegn sherrifs. Biden has taken no step to purge or weaken ICE. If all else fails Trump has plenty of idiot brownshirts. Institutions will not save us. If Trump is allowed anywhere near a second term, then a LOT of things have already broken down.
With Rudy in a wheelchair, trying the pity posture, I wondered how Trump would look. It got the tie right.
Needs more “wheel rolling over too-long tie”
Shades of Isadora Duncan?
Considering how many families are waiting for justice because their loved ones were KILLED by law enforcement officers, this had better be more of the hot air he always spews.
In plain sight.
Every time.
The Daily Beast article is the linchpin of this particular argument.
and I’m not sure that GS-15 employees of the ODNI are anything more than top level bureaucrats, their clandestine days long behind them.
Yes, I think we should be careful about this kind of speculation.
Do I believe TFG might have sold out US intelligence assets? Well, he’s a howling moral void, with monstrous greed and a pathological need for attention and praise, so it’s definitely possible. But we don’t have any actual evidence for this.
If the loss of those human assets is in any way related to the Bloated Orange, it’s equally likely due to him boasting about some intelligence stuff to show how bigly important he is. Most probably it’s just because he’s got top secret documents he shouldn’t have, improperly stored where interested parties have been able to take a peek.
So, to repeat myself: let’s be careful about the speculations, until we know something more about what is going on.
On the rare occasions when Trump does manage to land a reputable lawyer one of two things happen:
- He fires them, because a good lawyer will tell a client what they need to understand instead of what they want to hear
- The lawyer acquiesces to Trump’s demands, thus ending their tenure as a reputable lawyer
HANLON’S RAZOR: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
With the modern American right, we have to go beyond Hanlon and acknowledge that often it’s both.
Stupidly malicious. Yeah, that sounds like Trump.
That’s the sort of joke that worked in political cartoons when he was running, or in the early stages of his administration.
Now, it’s gotten too serious, both for our country and for international relations. I haven’t seen anyone in the States joking about what he does with his hair in quite some time now.
