The coolness also stems from a fundamental certainty that Donald Trump’s possessions, however obtained, would not be found in her bedroom or closet.
“She would never allow him to keep his stuff in her room, and he would frankly never ask,” says one of the people.
“(Melania Trump) has always considered what Donald does to be separate from her,” says another person who has known the Trumps for several years. “Decisions he makes about his business are his decisions, not hers.”
Well she’s alot smarter than most people are at that estate by trying to keep his sewage off of her hands.
I give it 10:1 odds that this “gentlemanly” barrister is looking to pull an Avenetti and get a political slingshot by vaingloriously defending the chief MAGAT. These people are gross.
I’m sure the guy is no more ethical than Avenatti was, but given that he’s won four cases argued at the Supreme Court, odds are that he’s a hell of a lot more competent. And that’s what worries me a bit. He also spent weeks negotiating a contract with Trump so maybe it’s ironclad and he’s got a lien on Mar-a-Lago or something to ensure payment.
Another reason he needs a solid contract-the national Republican Party has announced that they won’t be covering the legal fees for this case. Still onboard for some other issues, but this one trump has to cover on his own.
