Points out ad hominem attack, its desperate nature, its Latin nature, whether or not the aggressor is sufficiently lacking in ignorance to recognise that, thus its position-bolstering nature, thus obviously score 1 to the home team

Finishes with an ironically intended rollout of “alea jucta est”, although unaware of meaning, but adequately lacking in ignorance to be aware that some of the Asterix books have a pirate character who says it after their ship sinks again. Believes this will work in all sorts of ways to weaken the spirit of the naysayers

mistakenly hysterically amusing declaration of “IANAL” pursued by treatise on the obvious fact that the topic has now changed substantially, and prima facie all correspondents are in agreement as there are no complaints and lots of contributions to the new thread, and opposing the creation of a new thread as this topic is like an evolutionary branch that can only be attained by first passing through the original topic.

Also advice that accusations of flip-flopping are ad hominem attacks which under the forum rules is bad form
