does the gay community count this guy as their own. or is he some outcast now. because he claimed to be religious but he does not follow their teachings like gay sex and stealing. so would he be welcomed into the LGBT with open arms or would he not be allowed in if he still wants to be religious. is he like fully gay to LGBT or is he some repressed monster that they don’t want to know. just asking.
His blatant “hypocrisy” is what any sane human would find disturbing. As for his sexual oriantation, well that’s really up to him, he is free to choose, as is any other person.

Not anti-Christian. Anti-asshole. It’s just that, sometimes (and pretty frequently lately, with the Duggar scandal), the two tend to overlap.

you could see it the other way. he must have known he was gay. as gay people say they are born that way. so it is more morally tragic for the church as he has really abused the churches ethical code. a trojan horse if you like. taking a wage from the church. then stealing and having gay sex. you say the church repressed him as if it is the churches fault. it could be that gays are purposely going for leaders jobs in the church just to corrupt it. so this could be seen from the churches view as good news that a gay plot has failed.
