Peeping inside Paris's new nudist restaurant

And I suspect most of the diners won’t be because if you want eat in the nude in France you could just go tot he beach, or a park, or basically anywhere.
My folks would always take us to the nudist part of the beach every year in France (that’s basically most of the beach apart from the bit by the car park), and to be honest, once you’ve seen your first fifty naked people it stops being salacious or taboo.

If you spill something hot enough and enough of it to warrant that, you’d need to go to the ER anyway, because it’s quite likely that your clothing got soaked and needs to be removed as quickly as possible, unless it already sticks to your skin.

I’m reasonably familiar with getting burned. Let’s compare scars:

Norwegian Cruise Line was not amused, it seems…

let’s not. Fortunately my burns never scarred, which is good since it was literally the entire right side of my face and head.

comment to your other reply: no doubt, I just think eating hot food whilst naked is just asking for bad things. Even spilling hot coffee on your lap while clothed generally results in no damage as the clothing does absorb the brunt of things.

@phuzz I have to think given the widespread amount of content on the internet in 2018…how is nudity of any kind remotely taboo at this point. I almost feel as if the taboo is in fact tastefully clothed!!!

Actually, this is a good place for a first ChristianMingle date.

Are we doing this? Because my skin grafts are only like two months old and I feel like that might give me a competitive edge.

I feel like this discussion is about two posts away from a drunken singalong of Show Me the Way to Go Home.

Well, then it’s a good thing I’m already drunk.

BoingBoing: Come for the nudity, stay for the drunken singing burn victims.

You have just redefined “off topic”. Let’s talk about Trump! Actually, lets do neither.

We also have a nice robin’s nest, however the eggs have hatched, so have fun with figuring out how to eat the chicks.

Ouch!

I still have a couple of very minor scars on my arms from my days as a cook… nothing like that though. What happened (if you don’t mind sharing)?

Where do you carry your wallet for #tips ?

In France the labor is unionized and tips are thought of as some kind of weird American bribe.

You know about the McDonald’s coffee accident?

Let’s just say that spilling hot stuff over you is never a good idea and, unless you wear specific protection for this, very likely to hurt.

Probably. After 20 years, the part where they took the skin to graft looks like this:

I was a very well behaved toddler and watched my mother ironing stuff, sitting and keeping my hands to myself. Until she looked away.

Then my inquisitiveness decided that I wanted to touch the hot iron. Cost me quite a bit of mobility of my left hand, the small finger and ring finger are still very limited. No ten finger typing for me. (Though I probably could, with a lot more practice than would be worth.)

In my mid-twenties I got skin grafts: The big scar not only prevented me from opening my left hand completely, it also seemed to harden and get worse. So I used the wonders of socialized medicine, went to the hand specialist associated with a hospital and had it fixed.

The most annoying part was that I was on the operating table and just before they wanted to start they rushed in an emergency, an idiot who had climbed on his house’s roof. To fix something with a power saw. With no gloves and without securing himself.

I’m not a nudist, but my wallet is more of then not in my handbag. This one, specifically:

In it’s 9th year of constant usage and still going strong. While totally unintentionally it fits my devices very well, the inner pockets are big enough for the 2016 iPad and iPad 2, though I don’t know about the iPad Pro. The smaller open packets fit even plus iPhones and Kindles very well, though I of course don’t put them there unless I’m in safe environments.
