I read a take that was quite different and cynical from the responses you had to this. If Pence and Pelosi were taken out, there would have been a crisis of succession which Trump could further exploit. It could also strike real fear into both houses and potentially prevent certification.

I mean after learning this I’m positive Pence wouldn’t piss his own pants if they were on fire because it might cause Trump discomfort. He could have 25th Ammendmented the mofo.

Given the vitriol Lord Dampnut’s cultists have for Pence, it may be advisable for him to go into hiding after the Inaguration; I read somewhere that he plans to leave (flee?) the country afterwards, but I didn’t read past the headline to find out where he was going & when (if?) he would return.
On another note, I find it amusing that the Drudge Report is counting down the hours… heh…

We watched the recent Joker movie last night, and it was particularly resounding given recent events. No doubt there is a parallel between people that would be caught up in trump’s con, and people that would be susceptible to being swept up in mob aggression.
I hope the left, in all its variations, can resist the impulsion to act out with personal violence. Rather we need to move decisively within our democracy’s structure, and wrest control from “the money” and the haters.
They all live so deeply in a binary world of their own design that judging them to be mentally impaired is not much of a stretch
