Really people sound like they’re assuming that Trump is in favor of any policy besides the stroking of his ego. He expressed support for civil asset forfeiture because he was in a room full of LEOs. And they have discovered that it is easier to steal money than ask taxpayers politely for it. But put him in front of a bunch of anti-government alt-right teapartiers who are worried about or have suffered from civil asset forfeiture, he would be railing against it.

Assuming one wasn’t optimistic enough to see pseudo-Nazis as farcical, would “pre-Nazi” be an alternative distinction? (“Pre-Nazi” being used to describe the dangerous precursor [and on it’s way to evolving] to a true Nazi?) Farces, in general, should aim to make people laugh. And I haven’t chuckled once over anything this administration has fart-blasted out.
