How could they tell? Turning bright orange wouldn’t be a clue.

getting it doesn’t imply immunity. what you’re witnessing is merely hubris.
Getting Covid-19 and recovering does imply immunity. What we don’t know is how long it lasts, and/or if there’s enough variation in the coronavirus by now that you could be infected by another strain.

The circles around his eyes and the edges of his face started to match the rest. It’s like one of those lizards that puffs up its dewlap and the bright color shows, except if the lizard started out orange.
