I love the general positive lessons we’re getting instead of action figures. Gravity Falls? Adventure Time? I’m under no illusion that kids are going to be forever better because of them, but the lessons are pretty great.

Definitely a cute show, while I agree with pretty much all the underlying messages, I just haven’t taken to it. I dig it, perhaps it gets more going after the first season.
Things get really complicated in later seasons. When some of the dialog starts going WOOSH over the kids’ heads (“Yeah, I’ve seen Greg’s junk”) and the grownups realize “WHOA, there’s a whole lot of history and pain going on here.”
