Philando Castile's death a reminder Second Amendment and NRA campaigns don't apply to Black Americans

Okay, I’m confused:

Should we stockpile on guns and wage war against the Capitalist elites or not? Because personally, the rage within me wanted to kill Charles Koch and other reactionary Elitists.

Also, wasn’t the NRA created to prevent the sell of firearms to slave descendants, only to be hijacked by the arms industry through dark money donations?

Why - both parties have been on the right side and wrong side of racist legislature over their long history. Although in this case the article is probably trying to smear the current party with the sins of the past, which is pretty lame. Not sure because I didn’t read it but you see the same sort of accusations thrown about by both sides when it comes to the horribly racist legislation and the the follow up post 14th amendment carefully neutrally worded legislation that was then selectively enforced in a racist manner.

The author was raising some good points – some of which I found myself sympathizing with. The reason why the article lost me at this point was this was when it was crystal clear to me that this was just more demigogugery with zero intent for any debate or discourse (pretty much exactly what I would expect from a pro-NRA web site).

And if you think I’m just some 2nd amendment hating librul that wants to take away everyone’s guns like the gubmint, that couldn’t be further from the truth. I enjoy firearms. They intrigue me at a mechanical level, and they are incredibly satisfying to use at a visceral level. My problem is with the US’s gun culture and fetishism. I’ve been very transparent about this in the past.
