The way white supremacists rose to power is by hiding in the darkness for the last 50 years and then jumping out at us in the last two or three? Police would have stopped oppressing minorities if only someone had rationally argued with them? That’s not at all how I’ve experienced reality during my lifetime.
And when did boycotting something start meaning ignoring it? I think denouncing and shunning require paying attention.

Blacklisting her feels insufficient. If she (and the others responsible for these kinds of policies) aren’t going to be sent to jail, the least we can do is egg them every time they show their faces in public.

Hell, he actively supports her - he left his job as a partner so they could move and she could take the White House job. Apparently he’s completely divorced the position she holds from the actions of the White House.
But the forcible separation of children from their parents (in a way that would both ensure trauma and make it impossible to ever reunite them in many cases) was pure Trump. Temporarily holding unaccompanied minors in cages was bad; deliberately stealing and abusing children and trying to hold them indefinitely to punish their parents is utterly monstrous.

No one is there to contradict the speech, but if the boycott is carried out no institutions will give this criminal the lovely speaking fees that have kept Kissinger in the lap of luxury all this time. It isn’t controversial to say you won’t appear with David Duke, but she locked a lot more kids in cages than he did.

Say you get pulled over for speeding… let’s say 75 in a 55 zone. And you’ve got the kids in the back of the SUV
Do you get a citation and a stern warning?
Or do you get taken away in handcuffs, your kids all handed over to child protective services, and your vehicle impounded?
Now substitute “stepping over an imaginary line in the desert” for speeding.
The Obama policy was a lot more like the the first option.
The ⊥rump policy takes the second option and then kicks up the horror way past Twilight Zone levels.

Nobody except the corporate media and law enforcement has been ignoring the Nazis. We simply refuse to be on stage with them because that would imply that their positions are worth debating. As @Humbabella’s Sartre quote above says, they are not there for discourse. They want the platform to “intimidate and disconcert”, a.k.a. trolley.

Ok, don`t know if this off topic or not, but here goes. I have no experience in political debate, but am a long time veteran of the vaccine wars. One of the rules for the science based side in that conflict is that you never, ever give the antivax loons the level playing field they seek. Allowing them to be seen as “equal” to our position gives them absolutely everything they want. Winning or losing a debate is immaterial. If they are seen as an equally valid, alternative position they have won. I suspect Nazis will function the same way. They are not acceptable and it must be clear that they are not. Putting them on equal footing with valid thoughtful positions is absolutely a loss for us.
