There has been violent resistance to US colonialism in Puerto Rico before. I would be entirely unsurprised to see it arise again in the coming year.

I’d also be unsurprised to see the USA crush that resistance with overwhelming force.

Puerto Rico provides the Trumpists with a testbed to try things out before shifting them to the mainland.
