For a species that values logic and disdains emotions, Vulcans can be very snarky.
(The funny thing is that Chekov wasn’t even part of the crew during the season that included the “Space Seed” episode, but both he and Khan pretended to remember meeting each other)
Other news from SDCC…
Maybe it’s a legend, maybe it happened…but I recall Walter Koenig at a convention was asked about this and he had determined that Chekov was already on the ship (just not been assigned to bridge duty yet.) They met when Chekov had taken too long in the head and met an angry Khan once he stepped out.
Yeah, that’s been Koenig’s standard answer when asked for a long time.
Because of course someone had to fill in a “correct” answer, there’s a novel that suggests Chekov was in Security at the time and lead a detail that tried and failed to storm engineering between Khan taking over the space and cutting the oxygen to the ship.
and @Brainspore
Space Seed was set between stardates 3141.9–3143.3
Catspaw (Walter Koenig’s debut) was set on stardate 3018.2
It’s canon that Chekov was on the Enterprise when Kahn was there. It was intended, it couldn’t possibly be something as simple as TOS stardates being random numbers.
My other favorite trivia about Shari Lewis is that she loved ordering the lamb chops whenever they were on the menu at a restaurant where she was eating just so she could see the horrified reaction of the waitstaff.
When you realize the Bell riots are later this month…
I got a pin and the shirt!
Some amazing stuff. But definitely for the billionaires.
What the heck is with this one? I think both actors would be offended to learn their costumes were being offered as a mismatched set this way.
