Aren’t you just gilding a prickly lily (with red gold)?
How the heck did I manage to mute this thread?
Did I miss anything?
Were you here when we totally drummed @japhroaig out for being a troll?
Did you miss the really funny and amazing question we were all laughing about for hours?
Isn’t it sad that they all got eaten?
Wasn’t that a remarkably interesting and unusual turn of events for this thread that caused the big event and eventual deletion?
How strange is it that the most interesting event I’ve seen on the internet happened right here, and is now lost to the ages?
Isn’t it frustrating how it was so incredible, and yet so complex, intricate, and context-dependent that there’s no real way to describe it?
Wait, what? I was building windows, did this really happen?
Oh, did you miss it, too?
Wasn’t it like a snowflake - perfect, unique, intricately detailed, and evanescent?
Is this what happens when I go out for Mexican food and margaritas?
Aren’t they playing tricks on us?
Oh, wouldn’t we show them the proof, if we could?
How cruel is it of you to deny your part in these wondrous matters?
Doesn’t the missing evidence prove we must be telling the truth about the eaten comments?
Why would I assume otherwise after my recent post?
Is it weird to use non-vegan ingredients with a vegan recipe? Who keeps soy yogurt in the fridge, anyway?
Hasn’t one of my children taken a liking to coconut-based yogurt? And isn’t it much more expensive, especially because she won’t get the plain stuff and add her own fruit?
Isn’t your dilemma similar to substituting vegetarian ingredients in an omnivore recipe? Aren’t you comfortable doing that already? So how is this any weirder, really?
Isn’t more of magical thinking, along the lines of “step on a crack, break your momma’s back”? Sort of a “use non-vegan parts, break the cookbook author’s heart”?
Doesn’t that suggest you’re using recipes from the wrong cookbook author? Wouldn’t someone inclusive and supportive like Deborah Madison be a more ethical choice?
Does anyone have any good ideas for what I can do, now that DirecTV has been taken over by AT&T?
(Nothing but problems since they’ve taken it over, but the only internet access available here is AT&T or Comcast – which is at least as bad as AT&T, although at least it IS faster – if there is a cost- and speed-effective way to use a hotspot for both internet and TV/movie watching, I’m all ears. Or if anyone has a good argument regarding holding my nose and picking Comcast.)
