What no, rare Pepe’s?
It’s so summer around here.

You mis spoke?
That’s the codeword used by the anti-Latium movement. They are utterly Vulgar yet they only seem to spout gibberish.
No; I missed, when I poked…
Periodic reminder that most of 4chan wants /pol/ to fuck off just as much as the rest of you.
It worked for ‘Santorum’…
Not so much.
War is Peace / Freedom is Slavery / Ignorance is Google
Vulgar ain’t just a river in Russia.
Because of SEO tactics and ither bad actors, the ideal of a neutral algorthim that reveals the web’s true content is as naive as a belief in Santa Claus. No, Virginia, there is no accurate and factual representation of raw data. All information comes to you filtered.
I’ve also heard “mosquitoes”. That’s an insidious one.
The fuckery is real, and so is the ongoing struggle against it.
Understood. I just don’t want those filters to score relevance based upon the unpopularity of the views expressed.
Like Syfy for Sci Fi.
Googol (or google, or whatever spelling is appropriate) was the sort of word that would be coined by a child (the mathematician’s nephew). It’s the kind of thing that comes to mind as a dummy word. That’s how one of my English teachers in high school used it when he was discussing some point about language (I forget what it was).
A dummy word sounds like a metasyntactic variable. They are often used in computer engineering where people need to refer to a label, but it doesn’t have a set meaning, its meaning is defined entirely in context of usage.
Dunno, I was thinking that we could use a few code words ourselves and refer to racist trolling as “terminal cholera of the mind”, which means that we can call a practitioner of it “shit-for-brains”. These code words at least have a more direct and understandable relationship to the original terms.
Yes. Yes we are.
What I want to know is why moot just didn’t ban the racist who was trolling him. It’s his site, after all.
I just want to make sure you understand that makes you a bad person.
Look, if your going to do it, do it right.
