The person to root for is Amy McGrath

Plus she voluntarily served her country honorably before. Same can’t be said of her draft dodging opponent.

“…ahead of Mitch McConnell’s re-election” is a pretty pessimistic way to phrase that headline.

48% of Kentucky voters are registered as Democrats, 43% are Republicans, and 9% are “listed under other affiliations.”

The fact that more than half of the registered voters in famously red Kentucky have registered as Democrats

Math is not my strong suit, but…

Also, f*ck Senator Yurtle.

The only downside to Moscow Mitch’s hoped-for defeat is that he and his wife will retire comfortably on the largesse of not only a grateful Wingnut Welfare machine but also of Putin and of Xi. In a more just world they’d both spend their golden years in federal prison.

This sounds bad for McConnell (and therefore good for America), but my chief source of anxiety over the upcoming election is the GOP’s commitment to disenfranchising voters and rigging elections.

They are a minority and they know it. The only way to keep winning is to muzzle the opposition, by whatever means necessary.

C’mon, Kentucky. Get this arrogant and awful fucking guy out of office already. McGrath isn’t all that awesome either but pretty much anything is better than McConnell.

He really needs to go, because not only is he blocking in Congress, he keeps making sure his wife gets cabinet positions. He’s married to Elaine Lan Chao, the current Sec of Transportation and former Sec of Labor. As long as he is in charge, this nepotism will continue.

The electronic voting machines have already shown that result.

I just donated a few dollars. First time I’ve ever donated to a political campaign, but man do I hate that goblin.

Keep in mind that “all politics are local”. He may be a bastard, but in may peoples minds, he’s our bastard with clout. Throwing out someone so powerful who represents your state isn’t taken lightly. And Democrats here are not nearly as liberal as elsewhere.

McGrath will need to run a very clever campaign to stay competitive. But she does have a shot.

You know McGrath is not the only Dem running against Turtle, right? Just because the DSCC is backing her doesn’t mean it’s a done deal . . .

Why does Chris Evans look like someone just cut the worst fart in his face there?

And RDJ has such a smug pleased with himself look…I think he was the one that did it!
