McConnell isn’t popular in his state, but don’t assume that’s because he’s blocking legislation or because Kentuckians are tired of the GOP. There are people who dislike him because they think he’s doing too much to oppose Trump. I don’t know what voter party affiliation was like in 2016, but I wouldn’t put too much hope in this.

You mean challenging McConnell? There are a bunch of people primarying him. They’ll just all lose.
I honestly don’t know what kind of chance he has, but I really like the race that Charles Booker is running (See RickMycroft’s post), and I think his politics are legit.
