Doesn’t a well-ordered militia need backpacks?

This is why my kid cannot go play at a home with guns without me or my spouse present. I have read many incident reports about guns the owners swear up and down were securely stored being found and used by a child. The guns were supposedly in lock boxes, with trigger guards, inside safes, etc. But the kids found them and the ammo anyway. I cannot trust anyone with a gun in their home when my kid’s life is at stake.
