RFK Jr bares his inner Nazi

I think he does realize.

Apparently this is the Duesberg hypothesis first proposed in 1987 by UC Berkeley Professor Peter Duesberg

The Professor appears to be one of the major AIDS denialists going as so far to attack antiretroviral drugs. Apparently his reputation for being stubborn is well deserved as he still maintains the position to this day…

I want to laugh, but the media spectacle in regards to RFK Jr is troublesome. As I see it, the fellow is a component of a conspiracy to validate conspiracy thinking. It’s a gambit intended to gain sway on the left without sacrificing support on the right. A win-sorta win game maneuver. I first heard of RFK Jr from an IQnon enthusiast and devoted mouthpiece for the Unsilent Minority as they joyously spread their gospel of Anti-humanity sentiment.

“What do you think about RFK Jr announcing his candidacy?”
“Is that RFK’s kid? I know nothing about him.”
“Yes. He’s asking intelligent questions and addressing valid concerns about Covid and immigration issues.”
“So he’s a Republican Kennedy?”
“No, he’s a Democrat. He’s a free thinker and his own man. I respect that.”
“Hmm. I’ll look into it…”

I looked into it, and now I fully understand why the Baloney Brigade endorses him. His potential for harm as a human monkey wrench is too delicious to pass up.

Bonus real conversation below. I am not clever enough to make this stuff up…

“Don’t you resent being lied to? It’s all lies and you know it!”
“Then what about your favored coterie of professional whiners that are telling you ‘it’s all lies’? What about their lies?”
“Those lies are true.”

Edward Snowden calls RFK Jr “interesting”.

I mean, he is interesting, in a “nine-alarm sewerage plant and explosives factory fire threatens orphanage” kind of way.

I personally would like more coverage of people like RFKJr, but preferably in such a way as to lay bare their venal bullshittery and fascist dogwhistles so that the “sensible centrists” can’t even pretend that they aren’t what they very plainly are, and that there isn’t a problem when there very plainly is.

… “conspiracy thinking” was mostly on the left all the way from the assassination of Kennedy’s uncle to the end of the Bush era

It’s only recently become (or maybe resumed being) a predominantly right wing thing (again)

Everything Snowden says should be ignored.

Either he’s being puppeted by the Russians holding him, and has no say on what he’s posting; or he actually buys into the lies, bothsidesisms, whataboutism, and Putinist propaganda he’s spreading.

Either case, none of it is worth paying attention to.

I should have added something like “which shows you where he is now”.

Just came back from a week in Jonesport. I think I’ve seen fewer “Women for Trump” bumperstickers at an actual rally for Hair Furor.
