I think the left front wheel of the car that flipped actually drove up the side of the other car. Don’t know if that would or could happen in other circumstances.

ah, i see what you are saying.
i was really questioning this cars center of gravity, still seems like it might be a bit problematic and high for the wheelbase.
this car isn’t an suv, but many small suv’s have very high gravity and very short wheelbases and are flip prone. jeep and suzki both had models that were so flip prone people put bumper stickers that read:

It flipped so easy because they hit tire to tire.
The non-flipped car tire was moving up at the point they touched while the flipped cars’ tire was moving down, thus leverage. I’m told tires are pretty grippy too, though who would trust a commercial, right?
