Roger Goodell admits NFL was wrong for banning NFL players' kneeling protests of anti-Black police brutality

Maybe so, but if I were Kap I would never want to work for them in an administrative capacity. I certainly would never want to do PR for them.

The NFL should give him something for his troubles, because it’s obvious that at least some of the teams blacklisted him.

Couldn’t agree more.

Oh, they were accidents!!!

Mistakes were made = accidents happened.

Yep- they didn’t support the players because they were worried about being boycotted, and now that it’s clear where the wind is blowing, they’ve flip flopped.

One can hope this is a sign of seeing the light, but one would be a fool to trust this is truly the case.

…and in the too little too late category

Like the NFL?

Kap should be replacing Roger Goodell, not begging him for a job

I think Goodell is hoping to be the last wrong white dude standing after all this. That hashtag is such crap. Not #BLM (though he says so in the video)… #InspireChange might as well say “The More You Know.” Will Goodell even take a knee? When he says “I protest with you”… where, exactly? Are you marching?

What say they give him Goodell’s job?

My favourite nature trail goes right up to his house in Maine. Saw him BBQing a few years ago. Smelled like pork.

If the NFL Commission is truly sorry for their actions, they would all step down from their positions and let new leadership step up to run the organization correctly.
