Sounds like he’s supporting domestic religious terrorism.

I stand corrected. He’s trying to be even more toxic than Cruz.

So “pastor” Tom Ascol, do Exodus 21:15 and 21:17 still apply? Quotes from the King James Bible on Project Gutenberg.

21:15 And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

21:16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

21:17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

And since you cited Leviticus 20:13 surely you support Leviticus 20:9 and 20:10 as well?

20:9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

How many Americans would have survived puberty if Exodus 21:17 and Leviticus 20:9 were in effect? We know Donald Trump wouldn’t have survived in the face of Leviticus 20:10.

He’d love to start the Christian ISIS. CR-ISIS. Just a big CRISIS of his own making.

There are no moderate Republicans. There are no centrist positions.

We have a right wing which openly embraces fascism, terrorism and genocide and then everybody else.

EVERY Republican endorses this garbage or at best is too chickenshit to oppose and call out those who do.

Silly Steve_L. Religious tenets are for other people to be bound by and to attack people with. They are never there to bind or control a Conservative Christian’s actions

“Tell it to God, Ted. ‘If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. —Leviticus 20:13’ Was this law God gave to His old covenant people ‘horrific and wrong’?”

Why are so-called Christians so quick to quote the Old Testament? Aren’t they supposed to be about the New Testament? Or are Jesus’s teaching insufficiently cruel to appeal to their sadistic souls?

And Jesus said, “Chill, and love everyone.”
But God spoke harshly. “No, kill the queers I made!”
Then Jesus replied, “What the fuck, Dad?”
And, the Holy Ghost kept the fuck out of the way.

If being gay was so bad, wouldn’t you think he would have made it a commandment or something?

He doesn’t seem to have had much issue with gay people, but a certain strong, unfounded hatred for various cities.
Like most people, really.

Hey now, no need to be dragging down the dark lord here. That is not a fair association.

My grandfather said the good Germans were the ones his bomber wing dropped bombs on. They never caused trouble to anyone after that.

Does this pastor also chant “Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!”?

Ouch.
I hope we’re able to separate nazis and Nazi sympathizers and those who were complacent from the general identity of “German.” :grimacing:
They’ve, as a culture, done a fuck ton more to recognize and deal with their history than we USians as a country have.
