The Unsolicited Promise. A promise to do (or not do) something when no such promise is asked for; this usually means that such a promise will be broken. I have to admit BB’s “one account” rule has grown on me. My years of switching Reddit accounts made me prone to be a bit confrontational in a way you’re not in a true community. I’ve even had a couple people here ask me not to reply to them anymore, which was a bit of a wake up call.

(And if that’s something they chose to reconsider, they should feel free to DM me, because I see them both make great posts quite often)
