Sick and tired of the idea that it’s morally wrong to be happy when someone dies. If they were a horrible person and the world is better off without them, good riddance and break out the champagne. Maybe it comes from the idea that it’s punching down once they’re dead and unable to defend themselves- well, guess what? If their legacy has been to permanently make the world a worse place for everyone else and all being dead does is keep them from ever seeing justice, it’s still punching up even if they’re six feet under. Rush has done unimaginable damage and I wish I believed in Hell so I could imagine him rotting there.

The man was so toxic that his final resting place will qualify as a superfund site. His opprobrium towards others in life earned him ignominy in death.

It just occurred to me - Biden could rescind the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The timing would be far from bad taste.

Even his most loyal supporters end up as props in the saga of his life. Such as always with narcissists.

Couldn’t someone at least provide an asterisk beside the names of recipients during Trump’s term of office? Something along the lines of the baseball batting records during the steroid scandal.

One thing to remember about Rush Limbaugh: his show always had friendly guests, never confrontational guests. Call-in questions were carefully screened and callers would be cut-off so Rush could then denounce and dismiss them and whatever idea they presented. He was never about nuanced ideas or reasonable discussion, he was about presenting one side of things to the detriment of all others.
