Buncha nudnik numbnuts.
Nogoodniks.
A “medium altitude, long endurance” (MALE) drone. As if there’s not enough dick-waving in all of this.
ETA that the Turk govt had this to say:
News website Visegrad24 reported that the news came “on the 2nd anniversary of the Russian Baylun attack in Syria that killed 34 Turkish soldiers”.
The Turkish embassy in Ukraine described the strike on Twitter as “revenge” for the Baylun attack, adding: “There is such a thing as divine justice.”
That one guy looks like a tanker with that helmet and suit. I hope he can spend it before St Javelin visits.
I wonder how many of those “out-of-gas” tanks along the road to Kiev “forgot” to fill up when they roared out of Belarus? Desertion is dangerous but incompetence is very difficult to prove…
Apparently some Russian tank crews were selling their fuel to the locals before they left Belarus. Classic Russia.
Fair enough on the beer, but wine? I’m skeptical to say the least.
I doubt that they compete with California or France but it can’t all be plonk.
What did i just watch?
Looks to me like a visit from St Javelin. But no idea if that tank was active or out of gas and abandoned.
Man - it’s almost like an army of low paid, low motivation conscripts isn’t the best way to go…
Ukrainian disposing of Russian litter? Comments suggest the tank was abandoned, so maybe no one was killed.
That’s what I’m seeing in the comments. Some Ukrainian dude with a shoulder-mounted anti-tank weapon disabling an abandoned Russian armoured vehicle so the Russians can’t use it later.
If that’s accurate it seems like a huge waste. If it was abandoned it would have been simple enough to open the hatch and burn out the interior with a Molotov cocktail or even just take a hammer to a few key components on the dashboard rather than squandering an anti-tank weapon.
$350 mill? So like, two jets and a rocket launcher?
True. I also have to wonder how difficult it is to steal one of those hot rods and re-paint it. Both sides are using a lot of the same models of vehicle from Soviet days
I’m pretty sure he needs approval from congress for more money.
They must have some kind of way to lock the hatches when leaving them parked, right? If so it may be hard to break into one but I’ll bet you could deny re-entry to the operators by just squirting krazy glue into the keyholes or ignition switches.
