Russian military disinformation online is making Americans go nuts, QAnon edition

Never forget where the phrase “drinking the Kool Aid” came from. . . .

. . . also convinced his followers they were being persecuted by secret sinister forces.

Maybe because the phenotype of Jewish people is pretty much white and it feeds the paranoia that “they” can be everywhere and anyone can be “them”. It’s easier to just segregate and dehumanize phenotypical black, brown, yellow people but that pale skinned blue eyed blonde neighbor may be a Polish-American jew, so the paranoid get awfully vigilant for signs of otherness to try to reassure themselves that no one will catch them by surprise.

Of course the paranoid don’t care that people don’t really try to hide their ethnic heritage but hidden jews are so less boring than your average jew…

" Several small-scale studies (involving 15 or fewer test subjects) conducted in the 1950s and 1960s reported that adrenochrome triggered psychotic reactions such as thought disorder and derealization.[3] Researchers Abram Hoffer and Humphry Osmond claimed that adrenochrome is a neurotoxic, psychotomimetic substance and may play a role in schizophrenia and other mental illnesses"

So . . . who’s taking the drug that mimics mental illness, the “elites”, or the QAnon followers?

I know, the problem is that conspiracy theorists have no sense of humor or intimacy with sarcasm.

I have a morbid curiosity to know how fictional descriptions of adrenochrome as a drug that alters perception akin to LSD morphed into it somehow being turbo-botox for the rich and decadent and escalating from “being extracted from the blood of a living human” to “being extracted from the brains of terrified children”

This has all happened before.

I have family members sucked into this cult, so no sympathy here. How stupid can you be.

I’m wondering how many people who share those images actually “research it” like it asks them to do on the very first one.

Thank you for that link - it was a very worthwhile read and a site I’ll be looking forward to checking out.

According to the pictures above it isn’t blood but some unspecified “fluid”. Highly scientific

If I remember correctly from childhood, just a couple of drops drained enough essence that you died.

In the Qanon madness spiral Russia is the least of your problems when Youtube as promoted Q videos for years.

It was in ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’, and according to the Good Doctor, adrenochrome was extracted from the adrenal glands extracted from a living donor.
Of course he made it up; he had infiltrated a law and order Drug Conference, and was merely trying to freak out a cop in a bar (along with everyone else in earshot).
He freaked out the bartender afterwards when he ordered a Bloody Mary…
Heh.

Who knows what he would have made of today’s madness?
You left us too soon, Doc.

but there seem to be so many of them.

I’m pretty sure blood can be extracted and drunk without the rape and torture. At least we go for low cruelty vampirism in my cabal. Of course, we’re in Berkeley.

It’s projection. Fox and other right-leaning news outlets have always run a lot of stories about pedophilia compared to media outlets with a center or left bias. Some people find it titillating, then use rage about the injustice to mask their feelings to others and to themselves. It speaks to right-wing fantasies of power and control, and they can justify hours looking at child-porn-adjacent material as “research”. To be clear the exploitation of children is a true moral outrage, but there’s a reason that so much time is spent on “research” versus concrete action in the offline world. On a larger scale, it’s no coincidence that 4chan and 8chan are the source of QAnon - both were created to skirt censorship of child porn and racist ideology. Misdirecting outrage about the exploration of children in the direction of the ideological left provides cover.

I don’t think every right-winger is a secret pedophile, by the way, but I do think that most engage in similar fantasies of power, domination, and control. Many right-wingers are feeling powerless - and shamed - right now, so the fantasy of being a righteous soldier for the exploited innocents fits the bill.

convinced some of them certainly. he also had an armed guard that forced people to drink poison, basically giving them the choice between drinking poison and being shot. most of the children were forced into it, and there were infants murdered too.

it’s not as clear cut as it people casually imply

I am seeing a large uptick in pro-Q messages in Japanese message boards these days, too. This thing is really going global. It’s like a viral pandemic that attacks and destroys brain cells. I like to make fun of them by asking them how aliens are involved.

One of the posts calls it “adrenalized blood from children”. It’s the same post that gives it a price tag.

Stupid conspiracy theories can’t even be consistent. They’re all over the place with this stuff. It’s like really bad fanfiction.
