I think the cats would describe it as too much “self respect” or “dignity,” not stubbornness.

Plus maybe Alf was just too traumatic for the feline community and turned them off of the whole industry.

Well there is a reason why Data’s cat Spot changed cats three times in all of TNG.

I’m glad that Grudge on Discovery (she is a queen you know) has stayed consistent.

As the series “Samurai Cat” shows, it’s just a matter of effort. There’s a bonus “making of” episode that shows how they managed to do it.

Also why most of the scenes with Sabrina the Teenage Witch’s cat were portrayed by a puppet.

(The cat they originally cast kept messing up his lines.)

It’s cos they’re all taped together for the scenes with cows in. There just aren’t any spare.

Plus, auditions are a bit of a hassle.
