Sen. Kennedy scowls on Black woman in SCOTUS: nominee should know 'a law book from a J.Crew catalog'

Once Republicans had to swear allegiance to his"Contract on America", then to the concept of lower taxes, but now, the only litmus test for Republican “leadership” is how low they’ll bow to Trump. Democrats, by comparison, have to achieve a consensus among a wider coalition.

Just a reminder that these same folks who are complaining about Biden’s promise had no problem at all with Trump promising ahead of time to nominate an unnamed woman (who, of course, turned out to be white).

I wonder what could possibly be the difference this time around that’s causing them so much consternation…

They all fall under the category of “pseudo-news.”

Like, the media were devoting hours of coverage every day to Build Back Better, for what seemed like months, even though nothing ever happened. There were zero news events on the subject.

There will be plenty of time to cover Biden’s Supreme Court nominee when he nominates somebody. Until then this is like a public rehearsal for news that hasn’t happened yet.
