Should the Vulcan greeting replace the handshake in the coronavirus era?

I prefer Namaste. Honestly, bowing to each other doesn’t sound like a bad idea either.

Should the Vulcan greeting replace the handshake in the coronavirus era?

It would be logical.

I’ve been doing that all my life - ever since I started watching Star Trek. (the original as it is now called)
makes sense to me

If we start using the 3 shells we can also stop worrying about the toilet paper!

Fuck the three shells. Nobody knows how to use those. Bidets.

I met with 7 new people today in 6 meetings. Fist bumps were most prominent, with elbows (my preference) second, but one person (female) gave me a great curtsy and in one meeting we all did the Vulcan greeting (initiated by me, just to see if it sparked joy).

And did it?

We had a spirited discussion about who could do it versus who couldn’t. Final verdict: it didn’t work for all age ranges. I think I enjoyed bringing it up more than anyone else did.

Based on discussion here I tried the Vulcan greeting with both hands. I can do it with both but it’s easier with my left hand and I can get my fingers further apart. I am right handed.
