Of course we recognized it* - we were too busy boggling over how badly the ad folks could do such a thing.
And you’d expect corporate execs who went to the appropriate US tech schools would recognize it, though Hahvahd MBAs might or might not, and European execs mostly went to schools with different drinking songs.
(* Personally, I could never demolish more than about 3-4 beers in one sitting back in college, and even that required large quantities of pizza to get through.)
