I’d watch it.

Given that this one was almost just a series of still images, or ones with very little movement, I’m guessing that they made use of a lot of AI to help create it? Not too bad but less impressive to me than the ones that were clearly hand-crafted, like real Wes Anderson films.

What have I done to deserve this flat and flavorless Manhattan?

There’s more to Wes Anderson than symmetry. I do think the casting is spot on though

That X-Men video is really good—cheap and silly but perfectly captures the spirit of the comic book. Disney should give them money to make more.

Funny, but this may be my favorite: Wes Anderson Horror Trailer - SNL - YouTube

And just before the credit roll we’d see our heroes, carefully arranged, doing their super slo-mo victory walk to a score that does little to conceal its “Les Toreadors” origin.

I think the SNL one is my favorite.

I usually find SNL “meh” except for every so often when the hit the right combo like with this one. Brilliant.

The stills made the blog rounds a few months back (I couldn’t find them on Boing Boing despite all the “Jodorowskis TRON” and so on posts happening here at the time - I though this night qualify as a pseudo - reboing!).

I know authorship of AI images is already dubious, but if the person that made this trailer by barely wiggling some AI images in After Effects isn’t the same person who made those original AI images, then that’s some barely-transformative rip-offery!

My favorite Wes Anderson movie is the one where nearly all the characters are white and upper class.
