I’ve seen toddlers who were less easily triggered than Il Douche. Say that he’s boring, that his precious ratings are lower, that his crowd sizes are smaller and watch the ketchup fly!

“Now, now Donald. I’m sure lots of people find you sort of interesting too. Look, there’s murderous dictator Kim Jong Un over there by the Legos. You like him, remember? Why don’t you go play with him? I’m sure he’d pay attention to you.”

I saw that interview, and he also said he wouldn’t interview politicians who were obviously disingenuous.

I imagine Trump has never read the negative comments to his tweets. If he did, do you think he would cry?

Probably that and break things.

First “Weird” and now “Boring” are what gets to Trump and co.
Not rapist, traitor, fraud, convicted felon, spy, incompetent or neo-nazi.

There’s no mystery. Turnip & Co. see themselves as the “bad boys” of politics and get off on (their idea of) the wrong people being afraid of them. That’s why I hate when our side goes off on how dangerous they are. Everybody knows how dangerous they are. But banging that drum incessantly is not how to fight them; mockery is.

Put it this way: if this were the movie Grease, Turnip & Co would assume everyone sees them as Danny Zuko and the T-Birds. What we need to do is constantly remind people they’re a group who could be looked down on and intimidated by Eugene.

“The walls ran red with ketchup.”

It’s like an infinitely less charismatic version of Han Solo’s “Who’s scruffy looking??” line.

I don’t think Trump has the emotional sensitivity to cry, poster child for toxic masculinity that he is. Break things and spew abuse, absolutely.
