Stray cat leads convenience store customer to pet food shelves

Now, that can get somewhat embarassing if the cat really gets lost one day. Ideally you’d want a dated tag where you mark the day you let the cat out, so if someone find it they can see if it’s just out for the day or have been out several days.

Conejo appears to be a regular at this place. I swore I heard it asking for change before it settled for a favorite treat.

Here in coyote land, one night we will hear their howling, and another the meows from abandoned kittens. A few months ago, we rescued one intrepid tabby who found respite in our garage, the one the daughter has dubbed Mittens. Indeed, now sheltered in place.

If that cat has a home, the humans aren’t providing proper care. An ooky eye and nose, beat-up ears…not cool.

The lady in the video says that the cat is called “conejo” (Spanish for rabbit) because it doesn’t have a “cola” (tail). In Spanish conejo has the same meaning as beaver or pussy in English. Cola (tail) is an euphemism for penis.
