I see it as rather the same way that people think the HA is all greasy bikers in leathers.
As if. The reason they are so successful as an organisation is that they smartened up and sent their kids to law school or to become (surprise, surprise) accountants. They knew these jobs were essential to keeping a large organisation well… organised.
I would not be surprised to hear this guy has ties to a bigger group. Or that this is multigenerational. Possibly grandad or great-grandad admired Lindbergh.
But the pop culture IMAGES we’re fed are the stereotypes and people start thinking that’s all there is. Which is as dangerous as any other stereotype because it means the wolf gets easy access to the sheep.

So he pulls up in his own car, with the lights on so the plates are easy to see, smashes a window, probably costing an insurance company 100 dollars, and drives off. Is he supposed to be making a point? If you are doing some damage, why not do a good job of it, and whats the point driving away when you left your rego on CCTV?
from the outside all abrahamic religions are rather similar, though

True, true. I’ve known enough working class skins (both racist and anti-racist variety) to know they are indeed a thing. But I also know that there are plenty of middle and upper class people who have deep sympathies and ties to these organizations at the higher levels that keep them running and allow something of a respectable place.

I had been assuming that the recent swing to the right was a pragmatic alliance between the asset-stripping banking community, and the Daily Mail-reading Christian White Supremacist fringe, to get a majority where voter turn-out is low.The really depressing thing about this and similar stories, such as the racist banker who got thrown off a train in the UK, is that these gits belong to both groups. If this is typical, and it is not unlikely as both viewpoints depend on not regarding others as ‘real people’, then both groups together have more members by the overlap count. And they have a lot more in common then just a strategic alliance.
