Or because he actually disagrees with you, as do I. When looking at first causes, I think it’s actually pretty obvious that the environment Trump has created led to this alert going out.
The “Are you sure?” dialog probably should have been different in the case of an alert actually going out. But when dealing with people, there’s no catching all mistakes.

Well, the timeline doesn’t include any notification. I like to think some staffer just walked up to him and said “some false alarm in Hawaii; we already took care of it”.
It’s more likely he would be having a tantrum because they hadn’t launched any nukes, despite the false alarm being declared.
