To put things into perspective, she is only 1 of 6 candidates running for the district seat, and doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning. Anyone who wants to, can run for this position. The bar for entry is exceedingly low. You just have to be a US citizen, be at least 28 years old, and be a resident of the district you’re running in for at least 12 months. That’s it.
I can put up with Aspartame, saccharine on the other hand no thanks.

Just like raising the confederate battle flag AT THE SAME TIME AS JIM CROW WAS ENDING was not about heritage, it was about retaining one of the most shameful practices in US history.
