This is why our current economic game of bullshit musical chairs is bad for us: Newspapers don’t make money. Newspapers pay journalists. If Journalists can’t be well-paid by newspapers, they’ll be well-paid by the politicians and corporations they used to be paid poorly to watch and are now being paid well to aid.
In other words, modern capitalism, in America, is rubbish, and designed to create conflicts of interest the size of New Jersey, like this.
