Newsom is prepping for 2028 (and possibly 2024 if Biden can’t run). Despite his profession of outrage that Hannity and Faux were biased, it’s not exactly a surprise to him. And he knows that DeSantis has already lost the GOP nomination. So he got free publicity, which is like gold to these guys.
