The coming conservative "civil war" is going to be weird

Probably the same thing that he is always thinking about…

Seriously. Congress, state legislators, who knows what referendums in your area…
But all anyone can talk about is Trump v. Clinton

Trump has an 18% chance of victory (according to Silver), and you don’t think that’s terrifying??

Generally I prefer my utter disaster scenarios (nuclear war, asteroid strike, Trump victory, etc.) to be well below the 0.01% level before I can actually relax.

FiveThirtyEight has a striking new post illustrating just how big the gender divide is for this election. Hillary is up 33 percent among female voters, which is completely unprecedented. Basically the 19th Amendment is the biggest factor keeping him out of office. Even Texas would be voting Democratic if it were left to women.

This, in a nutshell, is why conservatives are so much more concerned about Trump’s sexism than his racism.

I assume that if it were white men, it’d be all red and if it were everyone else, it’d be all blue.

I dunno 'bout you, but I hit “interesting times” fatigue a good 10 years ago.

Enough, already.

One of the reasons that the less self-destructive Republicans have been trying to find a way to make inroads with the Latino community. They like to go to church! They are big on family stuff! Many of them live and work in rural areas! They would seem like a natural fit for the party that markets itself on conservative family values if it weren’t for all the “white supremacist bigotry and xenophobia” stuff keeping them away.

But hey, they’re bound to forget all that stuff Trump said by the next election cycle! Right?

You know there’s a long-established rumour that ‘Rosebud’ was used because it was Hearst’s nickname for Marion Davies’ “tender button”?

Late 80s, early 90s. I like their cover of Bizarre Love Triangle.

Wait, what are we talking about?

The band that were 80s icons, but used to be Joy Division?

(Also, I don’t think bizarre love triangle was a cover? Frente did a cover…)

So many bands covered that that there was no original. New Order was the first cover

The Originals was a completely different group. They were in London’s East End. Actually for a short time there were two groups called The Originals, but the second group changed their name to The New Originals. Then The Originals changed their name back to The Regulars. The New Originals became Spinal Tap and the rest is history.

Is that when Stumpy Pete joined the band or was that Stumpy Joe? I always get them mixed up.

AZ is a swing state Trump used to hold a really tenuous lead in…
