Good question. The message doesn’t seem to match their Republican Jesus.
The ad shows pictures overlaid with text like “Jesus called huddles, too,” and “Jesus confronted racism with love,” and “Jesus was a refugee.”
“Jesus called huddles, too,” [How to interpret that?! Doesn’t seem universally applicable to anything.]
“Jesus confronted racism.” [Only punching Nazis seems to be the proven solution.]
“Jesus was a refugee.” [… whatever that really means. In the meantime, HL are anti-LBGTQ+ and have been accused on several occasions of racial profiling. Note that the Right does not consider immigrants at the southern border to be refugees.]
