Why do the fascists always claim the US is a laughing stock abroad because of progressive stuff?
As someone who does not live in the US, itās only a laughing stock because of the fascists, though the laughing has slowly been being replaced with deeper and deeper concern over the last decade or so.

I have personally witnessed this. My parent have some Scottish friends that used be our neighbors. They moved to England many years ago, but would come back and visit every few years. It used to be little jokes about our cultureāthe last time I saw them (several years), that tone had changed.

People doing $600 side hustles, and not paying taxes, will be caught. On the other hand, people doing $600M hustles via off-shore accounts, and not paying taxes, will not.
Hopefully theyāll catch some AirBnB slumlords, but so long as they pay their taxes, or can mount an expensive defense, the IRS wonāt touch them.
More squeeze on the middle class and down, without touching the real tax cheats.
