The Gallery of Trump-Inspired Assholes (Part 1)

Or members of the GOP are joining the felons (ex- and not so much)?

Totally not a white-nationalist himself, just an enabler…

He’s also playing games with the election spending rules by having a third party pay for the ads.

Hopefully this influenced his decision.

“His departure leaves the FEC with only three of the four members required to vote on proposed actions.”

“By law, no more than three Commissioners can represent the same political party, and at least four votes are required for any official Commission action,” the FEC wrote on its website. “This structure was created to encourage nonpartisan decisions.”

2 to 1 is fair right? /s

Yeah. Initially Pattison was shrugging. Then suddenly they said “we’ll pull them”. Which says to me (knowing the philosophy of Pattison businesses) that these “left-wing mobs” have a lot of spending money and informed Pattison that they would be cancelling their ad buys. You cause Jimmy Pattison to lose money and he will dump you so fast you’ll think you travelled through time.

Remember all the concern trolling here about antifa supposedly being the main instigators of fights in Portland and their being as bad as the fascists there? Um, about that…

Oh, and about poor innocent Andy Ngo, just a neutral journalist attacked by evil lefties, the undercover member of PP notes:

“There’s an understanding,” he says, “that Patriot Prayer protects him and he protects them.”

The kapo mentality is alive and well with Andy, it seems.

“Ben” is what a true patriot, a true hero, looks like. He may not think that his infiltration involved courage, but damn, man, you are my hero.

Good luck trying to wear the “journalist” tag now, Andy. Now everyone knows you’re just the team photographer.

This crossover episode is weird.

Speaking of Ngo, the latest round of publicity was apparently bad enough that even the 21st century phrenologists don’t want to be seen with him anymore.

BTW, Quillette are attempting to spin this as the result of Ngo’s mythical brain damage:

This! The distancing game that far right groups play when something happens is getting old. It’s not based on any moral revelation, it’s just bad optics.

I’m sure we’re all just shocked at this latest revelation.

The brain injury that Ngo stated would prevent him from doing his work (three weeks after which statement he was back out on the streets “covering” his fascist buddies)? They really have to get their stories straight.

If this decision is truly about Ngo’s health (narrator: it isn’t), it’s less about brain damage than skull damage. Phrenologists can put up with a lot, but that’s where they draw the line.

I suppose this is a sincere statement, in the sense that Quillette still wants to see more sympathetic coverage of fascist street gangs out there even if they can’t platform it overtly themselves.

The tl;dr for the article is that after a report that the NYT building has a bedbug problem, someone tweeted a joke that Bret Stephens was the bedbug. It got basically zero attention until Bret emailed the guy and his provost decrying the callousness of the joke and demanding that he come call him a bedbug to his face at dinner with his family. Really the only way Bret could have found out about the tweet was by searching for his name like an obsessively narcissistic loser, but then I did already say it was Bret Stephens.

This would, of course, be the same Bret Stephens who has been decrying the “censorship” of right-wing ideas at colleges and universities for the past several years. I guess it’s only an assault on free speech when they’re not calling you a bedbug. Stephens, for his part, insists he wasn’t trying to get the professor in trouble by CCing his provost on the email, he just felt that his boss "should be aware of the way in which their people, their professors or journalists interact with the rest of the world.” Which is Extremely White Woman Calling 911 On A POC Picnic Goer levels of bullshit.

Honestly the whole thing is a level of stupid that still somehow manages to make my brain hurt in spite of everything else happening in the world right now.

The video was taken more than a month before his supposed brain damage. Maybe they hit him so hard in June that the brain damage traveled through time to affect him in May!

After watching the video I think that I might have brain damage.

What a bunch of moronic in-bred idiots.
