I’d never heard of a “fluffernutter” until I saw this video tour of the International Space Station. Captain Sunita Williams said she loves fluffernutters so her family would send some fluff so she could make them while she was up there. Clearly we see which brand she prefers!
Baking soda needs an acid to activate the leavening, baking powder does not.
Yeah, I know the difference between them for baking, I just have no idea how that translates to using them as smell absorbers.
