Bad news, sweetheart. Most of his shows were not “made up”. Springer has visited this tacky little Southern town a known four times to fish at the Landmark Bar for prospects. One confirmed catch was paid a Benjamin and comped a hotel room for the visit.
I’ve rented to motel guests who were crazier than anything Springer, Montell, or whothehell could imagine in gin-soaked nightmares. This. Shit. Is. Real.
