Trump’s latest “defense” is basically a page torn from Joe Stalin’s playbook - whatever is good for The Supreme Leader is moral and just. It is a paen of praise to the rightness of dictatorship. It is proof that his aim is not to be President but to overthrow the Constitution and make himself a tyrant. Jesus Jumping Christ, how can even that soulless mock human McConnell still support our preening turd in chief?

Maybe because he hears an echo from the Supreme Court decision that installed Bush the Second over Gore the Bore. The decision Scalia wrote, which basically said, This vote-counting has to stop because its apparent results would cause harm – harm, that is, to the presidential aspirations of Bush the Second.
