Personally, I’m looking at the long game; just because Covid doesn’t kill all these horrible people right away doesn’t mean they don’t have it coming somewhere down the line - additional health complications after the infection are still being discovered.

Sorry, I wasn’t very clear about my statement of getting my hopes up. I am hopeful the medication works but the thing that kind of twisted my hopes was less about the new medication and more about the most recent person diagnosed and the potential tragic outcomes for some of those unfortunate souls so afflicted. Perhaps it’s better left as you interpreted it, otherwise people might think I was wishing ill on that slime wad infesting the supreme court.
